Meet You in the Clouds!

"Declare what is to be, present it - let them take counsel together who foretold this long ago. Who declared it from the distant past? Was it not I, the Lord? And there is no God apart from me, a righteous God and Savior; there is none but me. Turn to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other"

Isaiah 45:21-22

“...Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” Revelation 19:10

Bible Prophecy

Our prayer is that you understand the days we are living in and how the stage is being set for some end time prophecies to be fulfilled. We will all spend eternity somewhere. If you are in Christ, meaning you have had a point in your life where you have repented of your sins and accepted the gift of salvation from Jesus Christ, then you are a child of God and can be assured you will spend eternity with Him. If you haven’t, I pray you will start asking God of the Bible to reveal TRUTH to you and accept His free gift of salvation. ABC's of Salvation

What is Bible Prophecy? Our God, the God of the Bible, has written the future down in advance. This is called Bible prophecy. Did you know that 27-31% of the Bible is about Bible prophecy?

What Is the Purpose of Bible Prophecy?

God didn't give us Bible prophecy to scare us, but instead to prepare us! God wants us to know the future! Prophecy has been described as “history in advance”. It is God sitting on His throne above and outside of time and seeing the end from the beginning and informing us of what the world players will be doing in the end days. We are seeing it right now. “Remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose.” Isaiah 46:9,10)

Let’s look at God’s past record of fulfillments:

Do you know how many prophecies Jesus fulfilled? Hundreds! Bible scholars believe there are more than 300 prophecies about Jesus in the Old Testament. These prophecies are specific enough that the mathematical probability of Jesus fulfilling even a handful of them, let alone all of them, is staggeringly improbable—if not impossible. Great resource: JesusFilm.org Old Testament Prophecies and Fulfillments

There are many more examples of fulfilled prophecies. You may download a free book by Don Stewart, a Christian apologist, via educatingourworld.com called God’s Work in History. It outlines the basic story of the Bible and also documents 50 specific predictions that the God of the Bible has made in the past as well as their literal fulfillment. While this list of predictions, as well as their fulfillments, is not exhaustive, it certainly is sufficient to demonstrate the existence, knowledge and power of the Lord, the God of the Bible. In sum, this book will not only provide a basic understanding of biblical history, it will demonstrate that the God of the Bible exists, that He has correctly predicted the future, and that He is in control of the future. “...Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” Revelation 19:10

Has any Bible prophecy been fulfilled in recent history?

Actually, yes!!! On May 14, 1948 Israel became a nation AGAIN overnight. No nation has ever ceased to exist and then come back after 2000 years. "Who has ever heard of such things? Who has ever seen things like this? Can a country be born in a day or a nation be brought forth in a moment?" Isaiah 66:8 "I will take you from the nations and gather you from all the countries and bring you into your own land." Ezekiel 36:24 "I will bring back the captives of My people Israel; They shall build the waste cities and inhabit them; They shall plant vineyards and drink wine from them; They shall also make gardens and eat fruit from them. I will plant them in their land, And no longer shall they be pulled up From the land I have given them, Says the Lord your God." Amos 9:14-15

Could we be living in the Last Days? Yes!

"People have been asking this question for centuries! Perhaps this question is being asked more today than ever before. There may never be a time in history when the end times prophecy is more aligned with the culture and circumstances of the world than it is today. It is hard to ignore the prophetic signs playing out all around us. The “falling away” of the Church. The ravaging toll of pandemics. The silencing of Christians. The rise of globalism. A frail world economy. The fallout of socialism. Woke religion. Jerusalem’s prophetic role in the final days of this Earth. You don’t have to be a biblical scholar to see how Scripture predicted many of the events surrounding us. The prophecies about tomorrow reveal much about the problems of today. But decoding these startling prophetic events can be confusing and frankly intimidating to understand. Bible prophecy can be both fascinating and frightening, but it doesn’t have to be. There is hope for us in the looming events of Bible prophecy!” ~By Dr. David Jeremiah, a long time, well-respected pastor. Are there prophecies yet to be fulfilled? Yes! Here are some that we are keeping a close eye on! The stage is being set.

(This section is a work in progress of 3/13/2022)

  • The Olivet Discourse in Mathew 24

    • Signs of the End Times

    • Rapture of the Church

    • Great Tribulation

  • The coming judgment of Damascus in Isaiah 17

What does Isaiah 17 say? Damascus, Syria, is the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world. It has been attacked, besieged, and conquered. But Damascus has never been completely destroyed and left uninhabited. According to Bible prophecy, at an unspecified time in the future however, the city of Damascus will be completely destroyed — judged by God — and will not be inhabited again. “Look, the city of Damascus will disappear! It will become a heap of ruins." Isaiah 17:1. This an End Times prophecy dealing with one of God's judgments on Israel's neighbors and enemies leading up to - and through - the Tribulation.

What current events make this relevant? Israel has been repeatedly bombing sites in and around Damascus where Iran/Hezbollah have been amassing weapons. Could these weapons stored in and under Damascus render it desolate? While Russia is invading Ukraine, they are also filling Syria with aircraft and military equipment. They are flying along Syria and Israel border. Even though Russia and Israel have had an agreement about the bombing, now Russia isn't as agreeable to it. Considering recent events, the stage is set for the fulfillment of this prophecy, along with Ezekiel 38, 39.

  • The coming alliance that will invade Israel in Ezekiel 38 and 39

What is the prophecy? Ezekiel’s prophecy describes an invasion on Israel by a coalition of countries, specifically Russia, Iran, and Turkey from the north via Syria and Sudan/Libya from the south. The Bible says no country comes to their defense but only protest..."have you come to plunder"? But God intervenes miraculously on Israel’s behalf. “Then all the world will know that I am God.”

What current events make this relevant? It is VERY interesting that these countries have come together today, strengthening military and financial alliances. Additionally, Russia has said in recent days that Israel's "occupation" of the Golan Heights is illegal and the land belongs to Syria. Interesting...did you know that Bible scholars believe what they are coming to plunder is the oil and gas that Israel has located...and some of it is under the Golan Heights territory? Hmmm...maybe that is what it is all about! References to dig deeper: JPN article; Today in Prophecy's "The Players of Ezekiel 38" video & transcript
